Culture
Rothschild is a top tier investment bank that has fewer employees than the firm’s competitors because Rothschild is focused primarily on advisory, equity capital markets, and banking. Rothschild has a collegiate environment and is professional and objective. The firm rewards success, and the staff turnover is lower than most banks. The firm values innovation, integrity, and intellectual rigor above else. Most employees enjoy the work place culture. Rothschild North America recruits undergraduates and graduates. Candidates can apply online by emailing a cover letter and resume. The analyst program is two years and Rothschild considers candidates from all academic disciplines that have academic and extracurricular excellence. The firm desires candidates that have a “high degree of maturity and self-confidence.” In addition, candidates should be “highly motivated individuals with strong analytical, quantitative, writing and communication skills and computer literacy.”

Candidates that receive interviews have a first round interview and a second round interview consisting of four to five interviews with VPs, MDs, and other members of the firm.
